Picnic (3x)

Upon granting the queen's birthday wishes, we threw a mini picnic party at Taman Saujana Hijau, Putrajaya.

However, it was a "drizzling and then heavy rainpour" situation on repeat for almost an hour. We could only make it to the first gazebo AFTER the rain popped 3 out of 8 helium balloons. (partly because of the pine trees too)

So, we ran all the way to the nearest gazebo with all the picnic props and the foods and the balloons while struggling to shelter two person under the same umbrella each. When we reached our little hut, there was already a little crowd sheltering under the gazebo. (the newlywed and their photographer, the gardeners, and a small family) We have no choice but to wait for the rain to stop.

Trust me, the Queen is not happy at all..

After a while, the rain begins to slow down. The gardeners left, the little family went home and the newlywed stayed to snap a few pictures in the gazebo before leaving too. Hence, we have the gazebo all to ourselves. Since we're starving and cold, we decided to settle down for a little while before moving on to our real picnic destination.

Super last minute decor because I bought the materials one day before the picnic but I'm happy with the results. :)

At 5pm, the rain stopped. We packed the food and decor, disposed the rubbish and started our journey to find the perfect picnic spot.

And.. we found our picnic spot.

We decorated the place, took some photos, ate some food and left shortly after that because the mosquitoes are getting aggressive. Sissy isn't happy with the mosquitoe bites.

At 7.21pm, the sun is setting and we had to leave before the sky gets dark.

However, we brought too much food and couldn't finish it so we decided to finish all the food before going back. Guess where's our third picnic spot?

Ding ding! How cool is picnic in the car's trunk?! :D

The last and final balloon standing after losing the other four balloons during the windy car ride down the hill. (We couldn't fit the balloons inside the car with the 6 of  us. It was a hilarious trip!  So much laughter and screams with the windows down.)

Letting go the last ballloon.

That was it for today! Thanks for reading!
